Origin
A cube, a blank page, and sixteen years of notes.
FUBE.com was acquired to launch a consumer product: a lightweight, waterproof, 18-inch cube with rounded corners — furniture you could sit on, stack, or turn into a wall. Fun. Functional. Fundamental. Shaped like a cube. The fube.
The product never came to market. The name, and the habit of writing down every time it appeared in the world, did. From 2009 through 2024 the owner logged slang, villages, acronyms, a 1960s semiconductor joke, a Polish rap album, Hungarian grass, and a Danish energy association. The point of the exercise was always the same: is this name clean enough to build on?
The answer in the archive is yes. Usage exists, but it is thin, local, and commercially unoccupied. A strong marketer can still decide what FUBE means. That is rarer than a four-letter .com usually gets to be.
The offering includes eleven related domains so the next owner does not have to piece a brand together across registrars. Inquiries go straight to the owner.

How to read the research
Entries are kept in their original voice, including informal phrasing. They are not a trademark opinion and not a legal clearance letter. They are a public field notebook: what showed up when someone actually looked, over a long time, in public sources.
A 2015 post listed a public asking price and a preference to work without auction brokers. Treat those numbers as history. The live path is the inquiry form on this site.
